CORONATION STREET is always on the lookout for STORYLINERS to join its talent pool and are holding a workshop hosted by Mark Bickerton - Head of Editorial Engagement and Hannah Sowden - Series Story Producer - Coronation Street..

Storyliners contribute ideas at story conference and devise engaging, compelling, detailed episodic storylines to an agreed vision. You will take notes from the producer, and redraft storylines appropriately, as well as assisting writers, script editors and production team.

Do you have excellent writing skills, a keen eye for accuracy and detail and are bursting with new and original ideas? You will need to have a keen passion for Corrie, a flair for creative writing and love working in a tight knit team, then come to the workshop and join the talent pool now!

You will have some proven writing experience, and ideally be of graduate calibre.

Closing date for applications: 25th August - Please attach a paragraph of writing along with CV and covering letter.  Full details at www.itvjobs.com

"a keen eye for accuracy and detail " -That would be nice, considering how some storylines make no sense and past storylines tossed aside, e.g. Maria's 'husband'.

If ITV's bosses were smart they'd recruit from some of the bloggers, and even commenters, on this blog.
