In today's Mirror, there's a story which says Maria is going to be involved in "a shock new lesbian plot."
That's tabloid-speak for Caz turning her attentions to Maria. The Mirror says that Caz becomes obsessed with Maria and tries to kiss her.
Our old friend, Mr Curry Sauce, tells the Mirror: “In the coming months Caz is going to turn all single white female on Maria and will leave her feeling nervous and anxious in her own home. She corners her in their flat and tries to kiss her, but Maria doesn’t reciprocate.”
Maria then tells Audrey Roberts about Caz’s fixation with her and is left feeling even worse when Sophie warns her that Caz is a bunny boiler.
Teasing the storyline, Corrie boss Kate Oates said recently: “There’s a crisis in Maria’s life in the form of Caz, who is fairly complicated. She brings those complications to Maria’s life in quite a dramatic and tense fashion. That storyline is about testing Maria and putting her in jeopardy.”

to quote the previous blog "Caz - your time is up! Please pack your kit and leave." Maybe if enough viewers repeat these lines TPTB will finally listen to us.
Yeah I can't stand caz. Crap acting too
She has a dreary monotonous voice :(
In a way I won't feel sorry for Maria as she was forewarned by Kate and Luke that Caz was trouble but she too full of her own importance knew better only to find out they were right.
I feel the same way about Caz as I do about Phelan. They are both villainous and manipulative without any saving graces. Both are utterly charmless and charisma-free. Tptb can try to explain these personalities but if it doesn't come across on screen as believable then it's not working. Consequently, just don't care about the Caz or Phelan storylines.
Don;t care for the victim nor the villain. Will give this story a miss.
Yeah, that's right...go ahead and show how unstable lesbians can be. Get rid of Caz and bring on a positive female role model, please! I really hate this 'Caz going crazy for a hetero woman' story line.
This is beginning to make me think that Audrey is going to die. If Caz becomes obsessed with Maria and she's rejected, maybe she'll tamper with something in the Salon to get her back but it backfires and kills Audrey instead.
Please Corrie writers and producers do not do storyline you want to keep viewers then think carefully
This whole business between Maria and Caz has been utterly contrived from the start. Some writer must really have it in for Samia Ghadie, as they've had her doing one stupid thing after the other since her return from maternity leave.
I agree 100% with Humpty Dumpty on this one. Both characters have been made unlikeable by TPTB, and make for awkward cringe worthy viewing. No thanks.
First Kirsty, now Caz. How long before Steph loses it and starts poisoning the diners at the Bistro. Stereotype much?
Good heavens! Who said you have to like all the characters! I am looking forward to silly Maria being shown once again that she should listen to the kind advice of those who care about her. Miss Know-It-All definitely needs to be taken down a peg or two. Can't wait to see it.
In the meantime....I am sorry if Sue Nichols is leaving the show. She is a delightful OAP. Love her!
Maria is dreary but she has got nothing on bland Caz. Clearly, a boring bunch of characters have been given this storyline to try to make them more interesting. Good luck with that
Maria is far from dreary, I'm really looking forward to this storyline between Maria and Caz
Lifelong Corrie fan, but bye bye. Caz storyline and rubbish acting, stupid stares and pouts, ridiculous storyline, can't bear this wasting my time any longer. A total, instant, turn off switch.
