Street Rat

When watching last night's Corrie, my eagle-eyed other half pointed out that there was a rat in both street murals which, of course, have now been attributed to the talented Craig Tinker.

The rat is clearly Craig's tag, and a tribute to his beloved pet Darryl.

What a lovely detail.

I noticed the rat too, when I paused to look at Craig's lovely commemoration for Maddie. Interesting overlap between the Tinker rat and Banksy's rats. Got curious and found a lovely homage to Banksy's rat appreciation. http://www.erraticphenomena.com/2008/02/banksys-rat-appreciation.html

Rat is also an anagram for art.

Thank you Maggie. It's for things like this that I read this blog. I was about to start hunting online to check whether I remembered correctly that Banksy's tag was a rat.
