Fiz's suspicions start when Cathy claims her fridge has broken down and she eats at Roy's Rolls. But then Fiz spies Cathy's grocery shopping hidden away and assumes she lied about the broken fridge to spend more time with Roy at the cafe.
Roy then invites Cathy to join him for dinner at Ken's but she refuses. Instead she joins Fiz and Tyrone at the cafe where she mentions that her late husband was a big fan of quiz shows, and this sparks the idea of organising a Rovers pub quiz. (I'm confused by this sentence, however, as we've already seen a poster in the Rovers advertising the pub quiz.)
I can see why Fiz is being protective of Roy but I do hope she's not out to be nasty to Cathy, I like her!

Maybe they're going to organize a team for the quiz. I know, the wording is misleading innit?
Of course, Fiz will be nasty to Cathy and her defence will be that she's looking out for Roy. Then she'll be full contrition when she realises Cathy is a decent person.
Fizz is not back 5 minutes and she is already sticking her nose into Roy's business! I was not looking forward to Fizz's return because before she left she was constantly nagging Roy and treating him like a child. So now we are going to get more of the same.
I personally hope Fizz scares her off so much she never appears again - dreadful character baggage of such a prolific tv actress.
If I was a close personal friend of Roy (and Hayley's)...I too, would be very protective of him and would try to shield him from anything untoward happening.....
I'm with Fiz....question and wonder about Cathy...she has not been on the street for that long, to establish her true character to us yet!
I hope Tyrone gets involved and reminds Fiz how he was jealous of Jack's friend Connie who shared his love of pigeons because that's what I think Fiz jealous that she's no longer the center of Roy's life and if they have her controlling his life that is abuse!
I wonder if Cathy will end up being one of Leanne's former clients.
