Mary and her motorhome

Something's been bugging me for weeks. Why hasn't Mary fought for the return of her beloved motorhome to Coronation Street? 

The motorhome was Mary's pride and joy, her reason for living. It defined her, housed her. It was where she lived. It was the very essence of her. It was her home, for flip's sake.

She had it towed away after the woman from the council came her with clipboard after Todd reported Mary's motorhome to the council. And since it's been gone, what's Mary gone and done about getting it back? Nothing. Zero. Zilch. It's not even been mentioned.  As someone pointed out on twitter, the motorhome's worth around £30,000.  Would Mary, of all people, really resign herself to life without her beloved mobile shell of a home?

Come on, Mary! Come on, Corrie! Let's have Mary snap back into character some time soon please. She should be livid, fuming - or at the very least getting a petition together.  Let's have Mary's motorhome back on the cobbles.
