Jane Danson joins Dancing on Ice 2019
Jane Danson, who plays Coronation Street's Leanne Battersby, has been confirmed as taking part in Dancing on Ice 2019.
On joining the show, Jane said "I've got a big birthday next month so I'm seeing it as a challenge for the fab 40. I'm just looking forward to it and trying not to think about being damaged. It's been a bit of a life long dream."
Dancing on Ice returns to ITV in the New Year.
Jane joins Gemma Collins, Richard Blackwood, James Jordan, Brian McFadden, Saira Khan, Ryan Sidebottom, Melody Thornton and Mark Little in the line up.
Jane will be getting her skates and sequins on ready to compete alongside eleven other celebrities in the quest for glory, under the watchful eye of the skating legends Torvill and Dean, who head up the judging panel.
Each week the twelve celebrities will skate live with their professional partners in a bid to impress both the panel and the viewers, who will ultimately decide who wins the show.
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby once again return to present the show.

I love Dancing on Ice, I've been waiting for someone to be announced who I can cheer on, so Jane is it!
Just a shame Ms Collins is in it, but I doubt she will last too long, it will be too much like hard work for her.
