The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Kate surprises Rana with an engagement proposal – just as Rana surprises Kate with the same question too.
Rana arrives back early from her cruise and Kate’s gutted to realise her plans for a surprise proposal at the port have gone awry. Meanwhile, Rana secretly asks a thrilled Johnny for Kate’s hand in marriage. When Kate and Rana are reunited they each produce ring boxes, shocked to realise they were both planning a surprise proposal. Utterly thrilled, they agree to marry and Johnny and Jenny throw an engagement party in the pub.
Then Kate announces that she wants her and Rana to be parents. Rana’s floored. Sensing it isn’t what Rana wants, Imran warns his sister to tell Kate now before it’s too late. Kate suggests they do some baby research and reveals that she’s been to see Dr Gaddas to find out about IVF.
