Jane Danson stars in new film The Sorceress
Jane Danson, who plays Leanne Battersby in Coronation Street, is starring in a short film called Sorceress. And it really is a short film - as it lasts just under five minutes.
It is directed and written by Max Blustin and the film will be shown at the Woodstock film festival.
The film is about a waitress whooverhears a couple’s emotional and tragic conversation… but she goes to take their order anyway. This delightful little magic-realism vignette posits a theory about how elements arrange themselves in the world we see, which, in turn, affects our reality and can perhaps even heal two broken hearts. Staring Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones, Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials) and Jane Danson (Coronation Street).
