Ooh, I like the direction this storyline is going in. In this week's Inside Soap magazine, they suggest that baby Miley may be given away to live with the Hodges.
Faye has never wanted the baby, she doesn't know what to do with it and is only keeping it, I think, because Anna wants it so desperately. Well, it's Miley's christening next week and it all goes pear-shaped when Faye runs out of the service. It's Tim who runs after her and comforts her.
Tim's then approached by the baby's other grandparents - Josie and Greig Hodges (aka Mark Casey) who suggest it might be better for the baby to live with them.
Anna will be mortified yet will hopefully will see sense. I think it's a good outcome to the story. What do you reckon?

I hope she does but i suspect it won't happen. Faye will have a last minute change of heart. But I really hope she does give the baby up, but perhaps still go to see it now and then. At least it would be something different.
It won't be straightforward, will it? Faye could have a change of heart but a month down the line realises the best thing for Miley is to live with the other grandparents. I would have preferred if the baby had been given up for adoption but that would have been another storyline without Jackson's family becoming involved. I don't know why people around Faye are telling her she will regret it. She's 13 not 17, and Miley would end up being cared for by Anna. I'm already not liking Anna's disapproval. Faye really ought to move schools now that her baby is living with a class mate. Imagine the school gossip.
If Faye was not irritating before, she is very irritating with this storyline!
For the baby's sake I think the Hodges should raise her. Anna is far too controlling and emotional and obviously Faye has not bonded at all with the baby. Faye and Anna could still play a role in the child's life but I think she would be in a much more stable environment.
How far away do the Hodges live? 5 minutes? Why can't the families share Miley's care? After the Hodge elders acknowledged Jackson's paternity, I couldn't understand why they didn't offer to chip in with help right away. A crib and nappies in each home and a carriage to ferry Miley back and forth. Voila, the modern extended family!
I'm with Anonymous. Faye and Jackson go to the same school, so they can't live that far apart. No reason why they can't share Miley.
Good point about the Hodge's not chipping in when Jackson acknowledged Miley.
Not keeping with the character. Remember when Faye took charge of Joseph and lectured his mom on what it feels like to be not wanted. She had a maturity then that is lacking now. If writers stayed true to character there is no way Faye would give up her child...she knows what it is to feel unwanted.
It seems a no-brainer. Anna Windass is a poor mom in every sense of the term. The other grandparents seem more skilled emotionally to cope with a grandchild. And even if the street is five minutes away from Wethersfield, I am sure it does not harbour the same concentration of arsonists, serial killers, and psychos, hence the baby will be safer.
But they did offer to chip in with Miley. When Jackson's mother first came to them with Jackson, finally admitting he was the father, his mother offered help then. Of course it would be Anna who would never acknowledge that and accept it. That would not be in tune with her severe martyrdom.
And I don't think Faye would keep the baby just because she knew what it felt like to be unwanted. If anything, she would want the baby to go to someone who REALLY wanted it. You can't force someone to bond with a baby. You either have the feelings or you don't.
I do hope this turns out that Miley goes to live with the Hodges. I can't take the Harrowed Anna show any more.
Maybe Faye should go to live with the Hodges too, they've probably got more space:)
I feel in the end, Faye will decide to keep Miley....based on Faye's own upbringing....
With the Hodges' assistance...I'm sure a schedule could be worked out, for both families to contribute...
I really hope that the baby is sent to live with the Hodges. I would also like to see Faye live with Tim and Sally for a while, just to get her away from Awful Anna.
The Hodges certainly have more potential to provide a stable home; Anna Windass is a complete nutter and shouldn't even be allowed to have Faye under her roof! That being said, I don't give a fig if Miley moves to the moon - let's just get over this storyline already.
The hodges will decide to stick around for Miley's upbringing and then become promptly forgotten about forever more.
YES! For the love of God, YES! Finally, Faye can go back to being a kid and get her education.
