Jimmi was presented with The Sophiya Haque Services to British Television Award.
Jimmi told the Manchester Evening News: "I feel really privileged and honoured to have been awarded the Sophiya Haque Award for Services to British Television. When you win an award like this it means you really must be getting on a bit!"
The award was named in honour of actress Sophiya Haque who played Poppy Morales in Coronation Street. Sophiya passed away earlier this year of cancer, aged 41.

I recognize the woman in the pic from EE .. she was Sayed's wife..forget her name though.
Just as well, as he'll never win an award for his acting!
