Inspired by Daran Little's 40 years of Coronation Street and having done some research on Corriepedia, I have come up with the top 12 faces of Coronation Street in every decade.
In the first of five posts, I look at the top 12 faces of Corrie in the 1960s. These are the faces who appeared the most during the decade.

Very interesting! 25% of the 1960s cast is currently in the show! Ken, Emily, and Dennis. Mildly surprised that Annie beat Elsie for number of episodes.

and those three still on the show plus one other are the only ones still alive, I think?
Yes, Anne Reid (Valerie) being the other one.
Most probably Annie and Jack are the top characters because every episode had a scene in the Rovers, which both of them would appear in.
Annie is my all-time favourite Corrie character. Doris Speed was wonderful!
