Mary’s son Jude arrives from South Africa next week in Coronation Street, bringing his wife and baby with him. They’ve arrived for the wedding of Mary to Norris, without realising the whole thing is a sham for Mary and Nozza to win the competition prize.
As Mary struggles to keep her secret about the sham wedding, it’s her daughter in law Angie who starts to get suspicious. However, Jude ends up walking his mum down the aisle and it all goes to plan… or does it?
As we can see from the picture above, Mary and Norris make it as far as the vicar, but whether they’ll end up being married is anyone’s guess.

Absolutely bloody ridiculous! What next, Steve McDonald going after Rita? Marriage is not something that should be taken lightly and at his age, Norris in particular should know better. It shouldn't be treated with such levity.
So we are to believe her daughter-in-law, who does not know her or Norris,never met her or Norris, yet somehow intuitively knows something's wrong? Ugh...get new writers.
Fun storyline....my take on the nuptials is that at the alter Norris WILL pop the question after realizing that he does indeed love Mary and they will get married! If my prediction runs true, I hope that the writers allow them to be truly happy! The new family dynamics would be fun to watch unfold......
No no no! Norris is far too old and miserable for Mary. They are better as friends.
