We return to Hotton, where the party is in full swing and Carl is ready to flee. Todd is also ready to make a run for it, with Billy at the wheel of the minibus. What could go wrong? Well, it's the first week of January so a lot, I imagine. Debbie and Ronnie take to the floor and when Sue Devaney finally quits the cobbles, I think her agent should get her on Strictly.
Back on the street, Rafael is on the desk at the hotel (as Ryan is on the Emmerdale set) and D.C. Kit in on Carla's trail whilst Becky gaslights Lisa and Betsy onto the 16.05 EasyJet from MAN to ALC. Kit finds Carla locked in a container unit; meanwhile Tracy locks Cassie in the toilet. Carla thinks that Becky is actually abducting Swain from Hull. There's a lot going on and it's not even the half time break yet! Everyone gets wind of the early dart and for various reasons/plot purposes, they get onto the minibus of doom - joined at the last minute by Theo.
In other ill-fated vehicles, a drunken Carl drives away with Debbie and, after a message from Kit via Ryan, a suddenly cognisant Swain orders Becky to stop the car - but Becky drives recklessly on.
That's it from me - enjoy Corriedale!

Well it was terrible. Utterly baffling for non-watchers of Emmerdale. The pitch black didn't help. The Corrie lot set off in broad daylight then suddenly it was dark, even though they weren't driving far.
Debbie was missing from her own wedding for ages but the groom didn't notice?
I may be mistaken, but wasn't Amy on the bus? She wasn't seen again after the crash. And Tim being there in his taxi was one coincidence too far. I did laugh when Steve recognised Chris Bisson's character!
I totally agree with you. It was a total mess. Too many disjointed stories, too many points of view, and if you don’t watch Emmerdale (I do not), half of it was uninteresting as the viewer was not invested in the Emmerdale characters. Having the characters start off from the wedding during daylight, then all of a sudden, it’s pitch black, was a continuity error. I also was hoping that Theo would be the one who perished, and now I am more disappointed that Theo will continue to abuse Todd, which is not at all entertaining or informative for those going through abuse. For all the hype, this was a grim failure.
Well, the older Corrie characters would have recognised Andy carver, who Pete phelan held captive and killed. He played John sugden in Emmerdale, I think. As a non- watcher of Emmerdale, I wasn't invested in the characters, as I didn't know who they were- however, I remember Eric pollard. It was good to see him and Ken meet by the hospital vending machine!
I don't understand why Todd doesn't ask for help from George, Christine, Glenda or even Summer. They each have his interests at heart and different strengths. Now that his eyes are opened it doesn't make sense that he just goes back.
Couldn't Todd get help from George, Christine and Glenda? George is already suspicious of Theo, Christine would support George and Glenda has probably seen friends in a similar situation and has a kind of mother bear strength.
I wondered about Amy too.
Very confusing with actors who have been in both soaps. I recognised poor Andy Carver, now a psychopath, bur didn’t spot Chris Bisson so I didn't know who Steve meant.
Now Theo is a murderer and we have to endure him even longer..Ridiculous that Todd's friends don't see through him.
didn't Tracy say that she left the wedding because Amy wasn't talking to her anymore or something like that?
A chance to get shut of Abi once and for all lost again. Shocking.
