Coronation Street Fan of the Week - Amy in Wiltshire

It's time to meet another Coronation Street fan of the week.
Would you like to be our Corrie fan of the week?
Find out more here!

Who are you and where are you from? Amy from Wiltshire

How long have you been watching Corrie?
Since I was 6 (17 years) the episodes I can remember, but used to get excited and move my arm to the theme tune as a baby! So basically my whole life!

Who are your favourite female and male characters - and the reasons why?
I'
m a huge Shayne Ward fan (from way before he was in Corrie) kind of infamous on Twitter being such a huge fan! So will have to say Aidan Connor and female is a split between Eva Price and Mary Taylor!

What's been some of your favourite Corrie storylines over the years?
My ultimate favourite would have to be when Barmy Brenda kidnapped Bethany and tried to jump from the top of the church! Also, the Kylie Platt death, Michelle and Steve's goodbye to Ruarai and obviously Eva's revenge and Aidan's affair!

And what would your fantasy Corrie storyline be?
I would bring back the Battersbys and would get all the cast to mix up and swap roles for a while like- David Platt pulling pints and Robert Preston working in the garage and Steve McDonald styling hair in the salon. Things out of the ordinary from their day jobs

Have you any snippets or news about meeting any of the Corrie cast, or trips to the set, etc., that you'd like to share?
As mentioned before I'm a huge Shayne Ward fan and we've met many times! Shared a dance together, he's sung to me! I met Samia when she did Dancing on Ice, Bill Roache opened our local corner shop, Kym Marsh at a concert! Hoping to go to the gates and meet many more cast!
