I love Coronation Street. I love Benidorm. I love it when ex-Coronation Street actors turn up in Benidorm, so this little story today fills my Friday-night-comedy-on-telly heart with glee.
Sherrie Hewson and Ken Morley, who played Maureen and Reg Holdsworth in Corrie, will be on the Spanish-set comedy show Benidorm on ITV together next year.
Sherrie stars in Benidorm as hotel manager Joyce Temple Savage and Ken Morley will turn up in a guest role in the new series.
It's not the first time Maureen and Reg have acted together since leaving the cobbles. They were in panto together too. Oh yes there were.

Maureen and Reg, I remember the waterbed. Hilarious! That was when corrie had its funny side, sadley not much of it now. Look forward to seeing them together again.
