Now I'm probably putting two and two together and coming up with 57 but I'm going to make a huge guess and am fully prepared for it to be wrong, of course.
I think Faye's dad Tim will turn out to be Sean Tully's new man.
I have nothing concrete to base this idea on, it's a hunch, it's a guess based on nothing more than the fact that Tim moves into the flat above the Corner Shop next week and it's got pink walls. I know, shoot me now. I'm sorry if that offends anyone but I ran that sentence past a man with pink walls and he said it'd be fine to post.
Antony Cotton, who plays Sean, said this recently about Sean's new fella: "It will be somebody completely… actually, I can't say any more otherwise I'll
just talk! It might change, it might not happen in the way we might think it
happens at the moment."

Interesting theory...as it looks as if we are stuck with Sean for the forseeable, I guess they'll need to try something to revitalise him!
Putting aside the pink walls (is that from Elsie's 1970s bathroom brought out of mothballs?) I have to say Tim is too good for Sean! Unless that is, Tim turns out to be a murderer...
In all seriousness I like Tim and think that could be an interesting twist. Just not with Sean!!
Hm I heard that Tim is killed by mistake after Creepoid Karl fixes Jason's brakes on the van. But then i also heard he becomes an item with Anna so your guess is as good as mine!
I don't like Tim or his daughter. I wish they would both leave, never to return.
An interesting theory but I reckon it'll be Marcus again, with soppy old Maria left weeping into her large collection of sleeveless tops.
Tim and Anna will get it on, I reckon, with awful old Owen left seething into his large collection of check shirts.
Faye will be flower girl at the wedding of Dev and Deirdre
That could be interesting. He might be the anchor that flighty Sean needs. He wouldn't be what I would expect Sean's type to be but you never know. As for the pink walls, well, they're already pink so he didn't make them that way ;)
Yes, I did leap to conclusions because it's Corrie. :) Plus if you notice a day or 2 later in those episode spoilers "Anna feels guilty".
this made me chuckle! I love your logic, but going with that theory, based on the colour of my walls I'm about to marry my dentist ;-)
Never mind whether Tim would be Seean's type, would Sean be Tim's - assuming he is gay. If he is, he's very straight-acting and not the sort you'd expect to go for someone as camp as Sean.
speaking as a gay man, the less effeminate gays don't normally go for the mincers (yes I am allowed to say that) - however when you're short of choice on a small cobbled street...who knows...:)
Sean and J-Boy. After years of being dumped by the bright young things, J-Bay experimented with a leather female. After being dumped even by her he seeks solace in the softer and smoother arms of Sean (we all know what happens to leather when exposed to extreme heat).
Maybe that's why FayE's Mom and Dad parted ways. I can see Tim as a baddie in disguise, gets together with Sean, then it turns ugly. FayE won't be saying, 'that's me Dad' anymore.
Oh geez, I hope he doesn't get back with Marcus. :-(
Maybe Owen? Dev? muhahaha!

I can't think of any other character they would "change" to date Sean, so this actually kind of makes sense. It would be a very odd pairing though.
I don't think they're done with the Marcus/Maria thing yet. Oh maybe Marcus gets Maria pregnant then falls for Sean.
Oh yes, I think Dev would be the perfect mate for Sean! They can take turns out-camping each other!
What if it was Sean and Deidre! Not to be outdone by Marcus, he finds his very own literal faghag.

I predicted this when news of Sean's new fella was first reported on the blog.
After the furore caused by "turning" Marcus, I don't think they'd risk having an established straight character (ie one who we have seen have heterosexual relationships) embark on a gay relationship.
Aside from knowing that he fathered Faye a decade ago, we've not actual seen any indication of Tim's sexual orientation now. Which is actually unusual, as usually any new rugged builder type would be cracking onto the first bit of skirt who happened to be in the Rovers during their first visit!
