There's a good interview in today's Mirror with Sam Aston, who celebrates 10 years as Chesney Battersby-Brown on Coronation Street.
Sam is 19 now so here's a picture of him when he first started on the Street as a cute 9 year old.
In the interview, Sam talks about dealing with being on TV, the current Katy storyline, saving his money and being an "old soul". He says he rarely gets chatted up and: "I certainly don’t get sent underwear in the mail like Ryan Thomas.” Woah there. Too much information.
Sam also says he's got no plans to leave Corrie and he's dead happy working there. Read the interview here.

Hm Chesney was a cute kid that has grown into not such a cute adult. Sorry to Sam Aston fans out there but I dont think his acting is partcularly good either. A character that would not be missed and is just "kept on".
I thought his acting was supurb when he found out about katy's fling. He was very believable and I felt really sorryfor Chesney.
He is 'the one and only!' - Chesney Hawkes lives on in our Chesney (and Eric Cantona) - that was funny when mentioned last ep
He's better than quite a few on this program..Tracy, Dev, SOPHIE, I could name a dozen more that just go through the motions...knowing they aren't going anywhere.
