It's that time of year again folks - but Coronation Street will still be broadcast during the next few months of NHL ice hockey playoffs.
Starting Monday, May 6, in most regions, Corrie will be aired on CBC at 3:00 p.m. with a rerun at 2:30 a.m. the next morning.
Those in the Atlantic time zone may still get Coronation Street at 7:30 in the evening as well. In Newfoundland, the wee hours rerun seems to be at 1:30 a.m. with the afternoon at 3:30 and evening at 8:00.
Edited to add: Just to further confuse the issue, it seems some regions are starting the early shift for Corrie from today. On CBC Halifax tonight, there was a scroll that said we in the Atlantic time zone are going to 6:30 from May 1 to 10 then to 7:30.
PLEASE Check your local listings.

Toronto area viewers, I just checked the CBC schedule, and Corrie will be on at 6:30 tonight, not 3:00 in the afternoon. I wouldn't want anyone to miss it.
Doesn't start until next week. I shall amend the post
Thanks, Tvor, but it starts today.
On the west coast of Canada, Coronation Street will be on at 3:00 pm. Perhaps there are regional variations, given the number of times zones. :)
That should read 3:00 pm today, April 30th.
US fans who usually watch on the CBC, you can get Corrie on Hulu. They're about 2 weeks behind UK airdates.
Well as i said, check your local listings. We had a scroll on CBC Halifax that said we are going to 6:30 from May 1 to 10 then to 7:30. Just to confuse the issue.
Or just watch on YouTube. Thanks to the kind people who post the episodes there!
Oh, I hate hockey!
Let's see, Coronation St or arse-brained sports? No contest.
Actually, I like both Coronation Street and hockey, and every year I manage to watch the playoffs and Corrie without doing myself any major damage. :)
Thanks, for the heads-up, Tvor!
I just checked the Montreal listing for today, May 1. Looks like the move to 3pm starts here today.
Heard Coronation Street was moving TIME SLOT from 6:30pm to 7:30pm as of July 1st ???? Can anyone confirm this for me please ???
Schedules on TV STILL show 6:30pm Monday thru Friday ....
Thank You :)
