Ian Bartholomew, who plays evil Geoff Metcalfe in Coronation Street, admits it's "uncomfortable" to play evil Geoff. "I have to put Geoff in a box and open it when I need it," he says in an interview with the Mirror.
No matter how evil Geoff gets, I have a problem with him that you might not expect. You see, actor Ian Bartholemew starred on stage in Half a Sixpence, which is my all-time favourite musical and one I've loved since I was a child. So I find it hard to square the evil Geoff with the glorious Chitterlow in the musical at times.
