The previews are in from ITV for next week’s Corrie and Sean confronts Paul, convinced that he was his attacker. Paul assures him it had nothing to do with him. Marley confides in Paul that it was him who gave Sean the smack in the face by way of revenge.
Billy then explains to Paul that he’s reported Marley to the police for assaulting Sean.
Paul’s furious and finishes with Billy. Its’ left to Rita to play peacemaker. She tells Sean he owes Paul an apology, meanwhile Paul feels his friends and boyfriend don’t trust him. Billy and Sean are chastened.

Sorry to say, but Billy and Paul lack any chemistry. There's been zero build up to their relationship and it all feels very much like the show were at a loose end as to what to do with Billy and a relationship was their only idea.
I doubt this will be the outcome, but if they split next week, then let's leave them apart and explore much better story-lines for the pair as separate characters.
