Gail's gone off to Bangkok.
When the Platt women go abroad they normally head to Canada to see Uncle Steven. But Canada doesn't sound as funny, or as rude, as Bangkok. So let's have a look at some of the top tourist attractions that Gail could visit while she's there.
She could of course visit the other Weatherfield resident who's out in Thailand, Jason Grimshaw.
I wonder what else she'd like to do?
Visit the phallic shrine, perhaps? At the Goddess Tubtim Shrine hundreds of oversized phalluses of all shapes and sizes stand tall, proud, and er, erect. Found in the grounds of the Swissotel Nai Lert Park Hotel.
No visit to Bangkok would be complete without a visit to the Khao San Road. I reckon Gail would blend right in.
If she wanted to take in a show, she could see The Lady Boys of Bangkok. Just a thought.
And .. er.. yes, I've run out of ideas. I don't know Bangkok and I've never been. But if you know of anything there that Gail might like to get up to (yes, I know it's not real, don't write in), leave a comment below and I'll add the best suggestions to the blog.
