Conversation Street Podcast Episode 372

On our latest podcast, we discuss the episodes of Coronation Street shown in the UK between the 8th and the 12th July.

This week saw one main storyline taking up a lot of screen time, and it just so happened to be the one that Michael was convinced last week that Corrie would be putting on hiatus for a while! But were we pleased to see more Platt family drama, and what did we make of the outcome of Nick and David's trial? Also this week, perhaps to coincide with Wimbledon, we have not only Alya and Ryan but also Eileen and Jan playing tonsil tennis, plus there's good news for Sinead at the hospital - but is she really out of the woods now?

After Street Talk, we do a character profile on Alya Nazir, who, as we discover, hasn't really had a whole lot of interesting material to sink her teeth into during her five year tenure on the show, so we try to put our finger on what Corrie could do to spice her up a bit.

With this week being rather slow on the old news front, we skip The Kabin and head straight into feedback, where we read out the latest Corrie thoughts from listeners old and new.
