Coronation Street Spoiler: David KO’s Gary at Boxing Match
The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and the boxing match held in Luke’s memory takes place. Unfortunately, it’s where David’s pent up fury over being raped by Josh is unleashed - and it’s Gary who ends up in hospital when David loses his temper.
Weeks of tension come to the surface and before anyone can stop him David loses control and the crowd watch in horror as he reigns blows down on Gary knocking him out cold. Gary is rushed to hospital and a furious Sarah screams at David that she will make him pay for what he has done.
Sarah tells Gail she can no longer live in the same house as David and says she’s moving out. Meanwhile Gary asks Sarah to marry him (again).

Pity he didn't turn and knock out the referee!
Sarah is finally going to move? I'll believe that when I see it. She wasn't invited and yet remained through siding with Callum against her brother and having the creep's son.
A goody more bloody hospital scenes. Can't wait.
Jeanie: The constant scenes of severe injury and hospitalization would begin to get me down, except I know every character will have recovered within a day or two.So all the accidents and maiming are not a big deal. Think of Shona, Seb, Eileen, Gary (already), Carla, Robert, Chesney, Ken, Daniel, Adam, who have all had serious physical injuries within the last year and yet were prancing around days later like spring chickens. Only Billy is being shown to be dealing with the fall-out of his extreme injury and Chesney to a lesser extent.
@anonymous 13:20 - completely agree!!!
Maricha,I bet despite it being HIS house,Sarah and Gail will probably kick David out,put his children in foster care[Sarah doesn't care about Max and Lily anyway]and take over the house with Gary and her children.
As for Gary,why would he be fighting anyway?He never trained,he didn't like Luke and even falsely accused him[but never apologised ]of preying on Bethany before it hit the fan about Nathan.
Lol, Besides how could David get the better of Gary? Wasn't Gary a well-paid bodyguard to some mobster recently? I understand rage can give you a burst of energy but that shouldn't make a smaller, barely trained fighter able to best a professional bodyguard.
