Sarah is stunned when she gets a call from Joe saying that there has been an explosion in Ukraine and they fear Gary has been killed. Sarah refuses to believe it is true until they discover that his St Christopher has been found amongst the wreckage.
Rana is in turmoil knowing the news would devastate her family and when Luke tears a strip off her in the Rovers she tells him she is pregnant but neither Zee nor Kate know and she plans to stay with Zeedan.
Meanwhile David is intrigued by Phelan and follows him to Nicola’s house, watching from the car he is bemused when he witnesses Nicola is visibly shaken by what Phelan tells her. When Phelan leaves David hammers on Nicola’s door demanding answers.

I hope someone takes the time to tell Izzy about Gary's death.
As the mother of his son,Izzy deserves more consideration than Nicola[IMO] as she'll have to tell Jake,Daddy's not coming home.
I am guessing Gary will return but in a wheelchair, forging a new relationship with Izzy and Jake.
