Tonight! Coronation Street Sign Language Choir

On tonight's Coronation Street - Friday 22 December - look out for this lovely lot of people who'll be appearing in the show.

They're pictured above with actor Connor McIntyre, who plays Pat Phelan and they are members of Warrington British Sign Language Choir.

The choir was established 20 years ago and reformed in 2011. Both deaf and hearing members are included in the choir and their aim is to raise deaf awareness.  Remember to watch out for them tonight in Corrie!

Exciting to see more of sign language, it should be featured in Corrie regularly because there are so many deaf people in our society! Deaf signers that is, not every deaf people are like Freda.
