Business is business. I don't know why Dev's sale of a gym he doesn't need should be hindered by Kevin's desire to sell his garage no matter how chummy they are.
I hope Toyah picks a surrogate who lives far away from Coronation Street. With Peter's roving eye, having one around would be a bad idea. Izzy could have brought up that getting her baby via Tina was the beginning of the end of her relationship with Gary because of his crush on their surrogate.
I hope they're not going down the route of having Leanne be the surrogate. It was a miracle that she had Oliver, I can't see her getting pregnant again easily or carrying another baby full term.
I think if the truth were told Peter really doesn't want another kid. He barely bothers with the one he has,he is just going along with Toyah to shut her up. They have zero chemistry and for the life of me I cannot understand why the writers put them together. I cannot see their relationship going the distance and to be brutally honest I am not enjoying the return of Toyah at all. Absolutely hate the way she dresses!
anon 12:45 -- couldnt agree more! the return of toyah has been a flop. peter and toyah are a completely unbelievable couple, zero chemistry. i hope they break them up asap, and find a better storyline/fit for toyah. i still have hope for her, she is a good actress and was brilliant in law and order.
I can't see Peter and Toyah surviving and look forward to a possible triangle of Peter/Steve/Leanne.
I agree, the Peter/Toyah pairing is not working. For me Toyah and Leanne don't work anymore either. Leanne and Eva do however. I hope they realize they made a mistake bringing back this character and let her go. The only sensible solution is Leanne behind the bar.She is landlady material. Toyah would be better in a yarn shop somewhere else.
Ideal solution.... Leanne, Steve, Eva and Liz behind the bar. Brilliant team! Oh and not forgetting the "glue that holds it all together" Sean :-)
