Strictly Come Dancing: Cath Tyldesley on the red carpet

It's been a busy week for yours truly, with the announcement that I've been commissioned to write a further three novels. You can read it here if you'd like to.

Sorry. I know that was a plug for myself, but I've learned that if I don't blow my own trumpet then sod all anyone else is going to do it for me.

Anyway, as I've been so busy, I've not had time to blog this before. But here it is now, better later than never. Cath Tyldesley, who played Eva Price in Coronation Street, is taking to the dance floor this year in BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. I can't wait.

And here is Cath in her frock at this year's launch of the show. 

The countdown to the new series of Strictly Come Dancing has begun, with the stars donning their sequins and taking to the stage in London for the launch. This year's competition kicks off on BBC One on 7 September.  That's the day after Cath appears on new BBC sitcom Scarborough.
