Nicholas Cochrane, who played Steve's twin brother Andy mcDonald in Coronation Street, is returning to the world of soap. Sadly, it's not Coronation Street.
Nicholas will be joining rival soap Doctors. Inside Soap magazine reveals today that Nicholas has filmed an episode of the daytime soap and plays a local businessman who gets in too deep with a gangster.
Let's hope it's not too long before he makes the move from Doctors to Coronation Street.

I'm really pleased to read this. I thought he'd completely dropped out of acting. Perhaps, like the Terry Duckworth actor(Pavaro?), he can do both. Sadly, I think he's more use to Corrie producers as a Spanish bolt-hole for Liz and Steve.
