Corrie killer turns up in Benidorm tonight
Graeme Hawley, who played serial killer John "I only wanted to teach" Stape in Coronation Street, is on our telly screens tonight.
Graeme turns up in an episode of Benidorm tonight on ITV. He plays the role of a superfan of the showbiz character Sammy Valentino (being played to perfection by Shane Ritchie).
I love Benidorm. And of course Graeme isn't the only Corrie actor who's been in the show. Have a look here to see who else from Corrie has turn up on the Costa.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but Angela Griffin aka iFiona Middleton is currently starring in The Detail, a detective series filmed in Toronto and shown on Canadian television. I suspect that starring a British actor is tintended to make the show more saleable in UK.
I've watched it, but sadly it is a bad rip-off of Scott and Bailey (starring the actress who played Steve's wife Karen, forgot her name) which in my humble opinion was a much better program.
In the detail, the lawyer boy friend is called Marc Savage. In Scott and Bailey it's Nick Savage. Very original!!! But Sally Whiticker is a producer on the Detail and she created and wrote most of Scott and Bailey. So she must be O.K. with it. I thought there might be an issue with copyright laws or plaugerism.
Noticed also that this episode was directed by Duncan Foster who has also directed many episodes of Corrie.
