Lucy Fallon wins Best Serial Drama Performance, National Television Awards

Lucy Fallon has won the award for Best Serial Drama Performance at the National Television Awards which took place tonight, Tuesday 23rd January 2018.

Lucy won the award for her performance as Bethany Platt in Coronation Street, and it's richly deserved too. She even saw off competition from Corrie's own Queen of the Street, Barbara Knox, who was also nominated in this category.

The National Television Awards was screened live on ITV from the 02 in London with host Dermot O'Leary.

So happy for her, she did a lot of great front burner work.

I’m also gutted that Rob Mallard didn’t win. He’s been fantastic from the moment we saw him reading to Ken.
