The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and Carla kisses Daniel.
It starts when Carla tells Daniel to try and make a go of it with Sinead. He tries to win Sinead back with a plastic venus flytrap and even Beth persuades Sinead to give Daniel another chance.
But when Sinead heads round to Daniel’s to tell him she wants to try again but is stunned to see him kissing Carla on the doorstep!
Devastated she tells Beth who confronts the pair in the Rovers in front of a shocked Peter who quietly seethes with envy.

I'm beginning to wish they hadn't brought Carla back if all she's going to cause is trouble. However, having said that, even though Carla and Daniel are the oddest pairing, I don't want to see Sinead end up with Daniel either, would serve her right.
It's now obvious from that last bit of the preview they're gonna put Peter and Carla back together. The only good part to their story was the affair from around 2010 to 2012. Once that story was over they were dreadful to watch together and their spark completely died. Peter was suffocated by her (there was the whole factory debacle). I don't see what they could do story wise by going down this road again. Both characters are so much better off apart! They're two of the show's finest actors but they are wasted with each other
I really don't get what the point was of the fact that Leanne was so distraught when she found out about Peter and Toyah, the 30+ heart to hearts that Peter and Leanne have had over the past year or so, or to have such a contrived plot to make her move in with him again if it's only gonna end up with Peter going off with Carla again.
I don't understand why most fans can't see the obvious spark between Peter and Leanne or cannot remember how happy they were back in the late 2000s. The only reason Peter's set up with the "Battersbys" doesn't work is because Toyah (another great character who is wasted with Peter) is there putting a dampener on things.
Part of me thinks the writers are doing the Peter/Carla thing again because of the overhype on social media (much like Kana of today) rather than what actually makes sense writing wise.
But if it's what fans want, it's what fans want and I'd be happy for them. Who am I to make a fuss? I really think it just won't work out.
Blech!
I had a feeling that Carla\Daniel would become about Peter's and Sinead's jealousy.
As for Beth who is she to tell Daniel and Carla off?!
Beth needs to realise that Sinead got what she deserved from both Daniel and Chesney and instead having a go at Carla and Daniel she should point out to her niece that it was her attention games which left her alone as both Chesney and Daniel were fed up with her.
