I hoped we would have had at least one scene of Corrie's new odd couple, but alas not. It hasn't been so.
And next week in Corrie, Brian asks Norris if he can lodge at No.3. But when Norris points out that Sean already has Emily's room, Brian forms a plan which leaves Sean seeing red...

We saw more of Kirk's temporary sojourn, but nothing of Sean. I'm no Sean fan, but think this could have had great potential. Although I assume Sean has the front room (as had Mel Hutchwright) rather than Emily's bedroom, which would be pretty disrespectful.
When Emily & Norris were living together, Emily's niece would come and stay for at least a couple of days, so obviously there were more than 2 bedrooms. Funny how the elastic walls only come into play some of the time. Like Alya staying with Fiz & Tyrone?? As if they have oodles of room.
I agree, it was/is a missed opportunity.
