Sean and Norris - what really goes on inside No. 3?

Anyone else feel like we've missed a treat by not seeing what's been going on inside No. 3 Coronation Street while Sean's been lodging with Norris? 

I hoped we would have had at least one scene of Corrie's new odd couple, but alas not. It hasn't been so.

And next week in Corrie, Brian asks Norris if he can lodge at No.3. But when Norris points out that Sean already has Emily's room, Brian forms a plan which leaves Sean seeing red...
