Actor Andrew Paul, who played PC Dave Quinnan in The Bill is joining Coronation Street.
Andrew will play Dan Jones, a laddish brewery worker. Dan will find himself on the wrong side of the law in Corrie when he tries it on with the ladies.
Mr Curry Sauce told the Daily
Mirror: “Dan is a good looking charmer with a great line in patter and
Liz McDonald is soon well and truly on the rebound from Tony and falling
for him. But what she doesn’t know is he has history with
another Weatherfield woman and when his dark secret is exposed it will
reveal his true personality."
He has just begun filming on Corrie and will be seen on screen for the first time next month.

Plus he's another dreaded ex-soaper with character history.
Oh I used to like Dave Quinnan in The Bill!
Will be good to see Andrew again, even with less hair :-)
Corrie standard of good looking is not in keeping with the world's.
Not someone else with a dark past. Now what's he going to do - set something on fire, take a baby hostage, climb on a roof, drive a beer lorry into the canal?
Yeah Dave Quinnan was one of my favorite characters in The Bill back when it was a proper crime drama not a soap
Oooh, sounds intriguing!
Whats he been doing since the bill ended I dont recall him in anything be nice to see him back on tv
Actually, he's very handsome... it's just that he looks like a real human being instead of a plasticized android. Since Corrie has always focused on real people, he fits the bill and then some (see what I did there).
Todd's dad I bet.
