Coronation Street has been shortlisted in the Observer Ethical Awards 2015.
Corrie has been nominated in the Film and television category, in partnership with Bafta, for the following:
When relocating Coronation Street to its new home at MediaCityUK, an
opportunity arose for ITV to create a step-change with regards to the
show’s environmental performance. The team committed to ‘produce a
television drama of the highest quality with the lowest possible
environmental impact’.
The awards ceremony will be held on 2 July 2015.
