Where would you like to work on Coronation Street?

By 'eck Mavis, that new girl's taking her time putting the kettle on
If you could choose where you'd like to work on Coronation Street, where would it be?  It could be anywhere on the Street, past or present.

I would go back in time and prop the counter up with Rita and Mavis in the Kabin.  I'd be the one who sorted the papers, ordered greetings cards and stationery from the wholesaler. I'd put the kettle on and keep them both happy. I'd also, of course, listen in on all the gossip.

Where would you like to work? And in what role?

I'd love to work in The Kabin. It would be great, but I might get a bit annoyed at Norri from time to time. Working with Roy in the cafe would also be cool, and Street Cars would provide a good laugh. And working with Dev would be an honour, but there's so many places to choose from! I definitely choose The Kabin though.

I think I'd have to work at the Rovers. Hopefully not during any fires, hostage takings, or explosions though.

You can guess! At the Kabin - I think I'd have a rapport with Norris.

I'd like to work in the Rovers as the 'slow-wiper-down-of-surfaces'. Main qualification is the ability to maintain automatic wiper movement of right arm whilst leaning discreetly towards interesting conversation.

I'd go back in time too, but i would love to have worked with Deirdre for Sunliners travel agency even if it meant working for Alec Gilroy!

Definitely the Rovers! I spotted a jar of pickled eggs there when we visited and I want them...

I'm drawn to the Garage or Streetcars. Don't think I could cope with Norris in the Kabin, Sophie in Dev's, Anna in Roy's, the bitching or Carla's weird moods in the factory, and there'd be too much family drama everywhere else.

It would be Audrey's hair salon for me. There is rarely more than one customer at a time, and sometimes none at all. And Audrey is a kind and generous boss, always letting people go early! And, most of all, she is great fun.

Audrey's. They seem to spend a lot of time making tea and going to buy biscuits, and Audrey would be a hoot to work for.

Id go back in time, to the cafe when Alma and Gail were in charge.

I would like to be a barmaid at the Rovers. There I can be rude to customers, even attack them and throw beer over them but I will never be sacked, just told to go to the back or be sent home. I can take constant breaks or go and sit with the customers irrespective of how busy the bar is. Yes the Rovers is a dream job for a gal.

I'd work at the rovers - nobody's put a full shift in there since 2005 (probably ;))

I dont reckon anyone has done a full shift at the Rovers and not disappeared off to attend to some personal problem, since 1965!!!

Underworld. You can gab all day, take time off whenever you want, get sacked one day and then back on the job the next. They'll even give you a job even though there are no vacancies. The boss is a slut and a lush with a revolving door to her bedroom..it's so much fun!! An underwear faktry that is way out of touch with the real world but somehow they are one minute from bankruptcy and the next have enough dosh rolling in that the boss can swan off to L.A. whenever the mood strikes her.

I would love to work with Norris in The Kabin. His sassy mouth would have me in stitches everyday! LOL!
