Just like Mike Baldwin's solicitor Frankie Stillman, Pauline's got a wonderful surname suggesting she is far removed from the fliberty-gibbert girls of the street. This is a woman to be reckoned with. This is a woman with balls. If you were in trouble, you'd want Pauline Mansell on your side.
I loved the casting for this role and the way Pauline was dressed as ying to Carla's yang. Where Carla was dark, Pauline was strobe-light white. Pauline was like Carla's negative image in a flash photograph. More, please!
Pauline Manswell was played by actress Jane Relph. Check out her IMDB profile here.

Totally agree! I'm really looking forward to her scenes with Carla now. Like you said, if you were in trouble, she's definitely the woman you'd want on your side.
All true. She makes Carla look like a timid wallflower.
