Steve McDonald celebrates his 40th birthday tonight on Coronation Street. His birthday is actually June 29th.
So, happy birthday to the man who's had five wives, two businesses, one best mate and one glorious mother and gurns like no one can gurn.
Here's some birthday pictures of the chap himself...

And we must remember that on the occasion of his birthday in 2003, Amy was conceived.
LOVE Steve. He will always be my favourite. Simon Gregson is the best comedy actor on the street and can deliver in dramatic storylines too and I hope he never leaves. Corrie just wouldn't be the same without him. Great tribute post!
I adore Steve McDonald, one of the best Corrie characters. Simon Gregson plays him beautifully
Terrific the way Simon has matured and developed. Not every young actor has had the same success in Corrie; some seem stuck at beginners level. No names etc... Ryan Thomas also deserves praise and he doesn't get the recognition he should, mainly because Jason is just a normal guy.
Love Steve too, just wish they would find him a better partner than miserable Michele.
Love Steve, the Street wouldn't be the same without him. Now very firmly a Corrie classic! He's wasted with Michelle though, such a shame.
He's 11 days older than me! He was my younger sister's heartthrob when we were teens although I preferred Andy. I'm in Australia so won't see the birthday episode until next week but I hope they at least mention Andy. I know the actor prob won't be back again but in real life surely twins would want to spend their 'big' birthdays together - a friend of mine went home to Ireland to spend husband 50th with his twin last year.
