Why on earth did Anna feel the need to tell Owen?. What good has it done for anybody? He's devastated, she's ruined everything, the family will be blown apart and what has she achieved? Nothing will have changed, she's still slept with Phelan and she'll have to live with it for the rest of her life just the same as if she'd kept her mouth shut. An act of gross selfishness and DO something with that bit of hair that constantly hangs down!
I've said it before, Anna is really a marmite character. I have to agree with everything Frosty says and that bit of hair drives me mad, especially with her working in a café. I understand she's burdened with guilt so go tell a counsellor. No time for this character.
Anna tells Izzy not to tell Gary? No chance.
It was Izzy's Big Gob that started all this in the first place when Anna confided in her that Phelan was coming on to her, the silly cow of course had to tell Gary of the Short Fuse. Now she is mixing it again, what's wrong with the woman?
Anna's got playdoh for a brain. Would you even remotely think of telling your boyfriends kids you got it on with the person he hates most in the world? No. What planet are the writers on?
Now Phelan will be found dead and all of the Windass clan will be suspect.
It does seem that Anna is marmite - but I like her! She makes bad choices but always tries to do the best for her family. She married Eddie, adopted Faye and took on Owen so doesn't avoid a challange and was supportive to Roy and Hayley. ( I agree about the hair though).
Thanks to the acting of Ian P.D. Owen was far more vunerable than Tina.
I dread the week ahead not due to Tina's death (finally) but because MeMeMichelle is going to be "central" to the storyline. Argh!
I'm also not looking to the week ahead not only because of more Michelle arm folding scenes but also due to 'Momma's Boy'Nick being holier than thou when he finds out about Kal and Leeanne.Leeanne was humiliated and hurt when she found out Kylie and Nick slept together and the possibility Nick could be the father of her baby[Thank goodness he wasn't]but yet wasn't 'allowed'to leave him because of his brain injury but now we'll have to endure scenes of Nick ranting about how Leeanne betrayed him?!
Gail really has become Ivy....and in spades too!!!
Omg... Do the writers of corrie forget what nick has done to leanne... Nick has had a dark side all along, nothing to do with brain damage. He had the fling and lied for months to selfish reasons... Leanne/nick has been seperated for months( nicks choice) her reason for keeping quiet might be misguided but is motivated by unselfish reasons... Badly what the heck is Anna doing... She might as well shout it from roof tops! How more frustrating are these scenes to watch, soooo predictable. I was enjoying the tina demise till nearly every scene is dominated by it.. overkil.. Too much and really getting bored with it getting rammed down my throat! Now months of catching rob the killer... close to switching off...
Nick is so not right in the head. Leanne had every reason to leave after finding out about the fling with Kylie and all that followed. She stood by him day & night after the accident. HE said they should be apart, that HE was no good for her. So, finally, she did. And he did nothing to improve his situation. And Gail was right for keeping their secret for a day or so. Nicky, dear, you brought it on yourself. Get your head fixed and maybe you'll see that.
