The Sun reported last week that Michelle Connor was set to become the new Rovers landlady, this was then seemingly confirmed by Sharon Marshall on an episode of This Morning last week.
However Sharon corrected herself on Twitter, stating that following the fire, Stella Price (Michelle Collins) will remain as landlady of the Rovers.
I'm glad that she'll be staying in charge as I think she's starting to fit in, and Michelle seems more at home in the factory than she ever did in the Rovers.

This doesn't please me at all! I saw this as a good chance to get rid of her! Still don't think she fits in at all. Didn't like the idea of Michelle being in charge either though!
Michelle Collins had to quickly contradict her statement that she was leaving when her contract was up. Now this contradiction ... Both smack of someone letting the cat out of the bag on what may be a true story. So I'm not sure it proves anything.
Seems a simple case of someone getting their wires crossed and not knowing the difference between Michelle Collins the actress and Michelle Connor the character.
I think management would be better and nicer.
Just when I thought it was safe to switch on again...
Oh fff.... !!!!!!!!!!!!!
