Now we know that there will be a court hearing that will probably be the finale in the Tyrone and Kirsty saga. But we don't know the outcome yet. Oh sure, there's the tired old "we've filmed two endings" business but that's only for the benefit of the papparazzi and the publicity. They won't have filmed more than possibly one or two very short clips because they certainly wouldn't waste time and effort writing weeks' worth of aftermath and filming it.
Looking at the photos on the Daily Mail site, we see Alison, Kirsty's mother. I think that's the clue to Kirsty's downfall. Read a bit more about how I think it could come down over here.

I'm wondering if Kirsty has an extensive history of abusing other people but her parents tried to cover it up but the mother on hearing Fiz tearing into Kirsty about the fact she is the abuser and not Tyrone decides enough is enough. Perhaps there will be surprise witnesses to her previous abuse?
Kirsty is 30 and, although I don't know much about this issue, I would think someone of that age must have a history of anger/abuse etc. Her old friends will know what she's like which is why she keeps them at a distance but I'm not keen on strangers coming in at the last minute to put the record straight. So it's down to her mum.I think she makes Kirsty admit her guilt and promises to look after her when she's released.
Or Kirsty's mom may follow Diedre Barlow's model: defend your daughter even though she is lying, manipulative @#$%@&
As an abused woman herself, I don't know if her mother will look the other way. I"m hoping that Alison has found the courage to leave her husband and stands up and supports her daughter by persuading her to get help and tell the truth or testifies.
Or...maybe it's her mother that was the abuser and she's just following what she's been taught? Hmmm?
They'd better hurry up or there will be no point filming one ending never mind two as we will have all switched off! (or watching pre records of Countryfile ;)
What was the official reason Kirsty was dismissed from the police force? Surely the cops have investigated that?
I am really disappointed with the writers choice to portray Tyrone as such an idiot in his desperation to be a dad to Ruby. He took Fiz's advice to marry Kirstie, which was ridiculous and not very realistic. Anyone in their right mind and with any amount of common sense would know that marrying someone just to get parental rights, and then exposing them as an abusive spouse, is going to be questioned by a judge? Hasn't Tyrone learned his lesson yet, that such deceptions are only going to backfire on him? It doesn't make sense that he is now contemplating admitting he assaulted Kirstie? Come on writers, lets have a little more realism please.
PS: Why didn't Tyrone, or Tina more specificly, bring up the business of Kirstie being dismissed from the force and the reasons for this when she gave a statement to police? This would be something that the investigators could have looked into and would have provided some credibility to Tina's evidence that Kirstie has a history of aggression and harrassment.
Can't wait to see if Kirsty gets her comeuppance finally. The writers must take us for a bunch of idiots for believing in the storyline so far. There are so many holes in it that anyone with common sense can see. e.g. Police did not check for previous aggression nor check into real reason she was dismissed from force? Why did everyone delete evidence of Tyrone's abuse from their phones. Bunch of little things that made me feel stupid wondering how much the writers could sucker us in by. Wake up and know you have thinking fans out here. (Please, no more face lifts for Gail she is looking older than Audrey)
