Timothy reveals that Eric turns his attentions to Gloria's grand-daughter Eva as he realises she's unhappy and he thinks she's a lost soul like he's been in his life. He doesn't want to have a sexual relationship with her but he does think that they might have some fun.
Eric will offer to take Eva away from Weatherfield, Stella, Leanne and Gloria and whisk her away on a trip around the world. It's a genuine offer but not one, you'd imagine, that will go down well with anyone else if Eva should spill the beans.
Timothy says that is wife, actor Prunella Scales, had a small part as a bus conductor in Coronation Street back in 1961.
The interview finishes with the question: Have you enjoyed your experience on the Street? which suggests he's been and gone already, so it sounds like a fleeting appearance.
