DAVID FEARS HE’LL LOSE HIS BABY. David arrives at Kylie’s bedside, distraught that she may lose the baby. Will Gail tell David the truth, that the baby he’s so scared of losing may not be his?
EVA’S FED UP OF BEING ALONE. Eric’s seen Gloria in her true colours and now turns his attention to Eva. As she pours her heart out to Eric about her bad luck with men, Eric assures her she’ll meet Mr Right very soon.
TIM’S GENEROSITY IMPRESSES FAYE. When Tim presents Faye with a new laptop, Owen’s furious. Will Anna overrule him and allow Faye to keep it?
Elsewhere When Seph’s DJ lets her down, Katy suggests Ryan does the gig instead. Ryan’s thrilled. Jenna catches Lloyd showing Steve the replacement tortoise he’s bought, will he be forced to come clean to Mandy?

ERIC HAS A PROPOSITION FOR EVA. Eric’s had enough of Gloria as she flicks through holiday brochures and presents Eva with a beautiful necklace. She’s flattered but when Eric tells her he’s not going to marry Gloria and wants to travel the world with her instead how will she respond?
OWEN FEELS PUSHED OUT. When Faye rejects Owen’s attempts to build bridges he admits to Izzy how much he wants to be Faye’s dad but feels pushed out by Tim. Izzy has a go at Anna for failing to support Owen and letting Faye treat him like dirt. How will Anna react?

Owen is a monster and you can't convince me that he wasn't the same with his own daughters! Shame on Izzy for falling for his lies and having a go at Anna for not supporting him! This family needs to implode and recover, and fast!
How is the word "tortoise" usually pronounced in Britain? According to my Oxford Dictionary, it is "tortus", with the accent on the 1st syllable. I've always heard it pronounced that way. So why are Steve & Lloyd calling Flash a "tortoys", with equal accents on both syllables? Is this meant to add to the comic element of this silly story? Is this a deliberate mispronunciation, or are they supposed to be that ignorant?!
I wouldn't say it's mispronunciation just different ways of pronouncing the word in different areas. I'm not from Manchester but I would also say "Tortoys". Tbh never heard anybody from my neck of the woods or about say "tortus" but maybe I need to get out more :)
I was born and grew up in the Manchester area of England, and used to pronounce it toytoys. (But that pronunciation sounds weird to me) now. it is the Lancashire dialect,
beth i ofton make comments on this page and i think to myself oh rita get a life !!!!
Tortoise is pronounced exactly as Steve and Lloyd say it round here. Owen has NO rights over Faye and I hope his character will b in the Rovers fire cos I can't stand him . I would much prefer Anna to be with Tim and Eddie come back to see his grandchild and shake things up . As for blinkity blink blink Gail - no she won't tell David about Nick cos Nicks her number one son and the person she likes to be all girly with , which turns my stomach
I would like to see Tim get with Anna and turn psyhcho. lol Then Owen can ride in to the rescue! I like Owen.
Mandy says "toytoys", yet her daughter (can't think of her name right now, sorry) says "tortus".
