Victoria Wood's ode to Coronation Street's first episode

It's a sad day indeed as news reaches us that writer and comedienne Victoria Wood has passed away, age 62, from cancer.

And so, in homage to her we present for your enjoyment once again, her wonderful spoof of Coronation Street's first episode.

No matter what happens with Peter Barlow, this line is always in the back of my head! It's brilliant!

Thanks for that, Nora. Brilliant she was. Read that her father Stanley wrote a bit for Corrie and found it was one episode in 1972.
