Antony Cotton, who plays Coronation Street's Sean Tully, is quoted in The People about the tabloid- rumoured first gay wedding in Corrie if Sean weds Marcus in a civil partnership this spring.The People quote Antony as saying how thrilled he is with this storyline, etc.
However, news just in from Antony Cotton via twitter: "Just so you know I haven't spoken to anyone at The People. I'll be having words..." and "All Charlie and I know is he returns in March and we're both thrilled and looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Sean & Marcus"
Anyway, I know nothing's been confirmed on this story yet but I do hope it's true.
