Tall, classy, attractive, with a remarkable sense of style, a deep husky voice and stunning, luxuriant, immaculately-coiffed red hair, it's lovely that all of us Eddie Windass fans are getting to see more of him on Coronation Street at the moment.
Rula Lenska as Claudia Colby isn't half bad either. Boom boom.
Seriously, I wasn't sure about how well Claudia would fit in as a regular character, but at the moment I'm liking her self-confident swagger and her nippy banter with "Aud", and so far, so good. I think she'll be great. My feeling is that I'd like to see an all-out turf battle between Audrey's and Perm Suspect, rather than Claudia taking over the Rover's as rumour has it (why on earth would she want to do that?)
Really enjoying the Windass storyline as well, and am interested to see how it develops.
My own blog is here.

Yeah Hurrah for Claud, or "Claudette" as Audreh deliberately called her - ha ha. She is a breath of fresh air in this misery fest of appalling acting from Tracyluv and hamming it up and hand wringing by Mother Dreary! She would be a fabulous landlady for the Rovers, a bit of glamour behind the bar instead of skanky looking Becky with all her angst. Here's hoping she is a permanent character.
She's kind of annoying but I would like her to be friends with Mary, I liked that scene.
Yes, great idea Anonymous, Claudia and Mary, they were quite unlikely company in the Rovers, but very amusing.
What is up with Deidre.... Oh flippin heck -enough already. I had to laugh when Ken asked Tracy at the hospital if she was sure it was Becky. Deidre was so insensed with the thought, as though Tracy had done nothing wrong in her life never mind clobber her boyfriend to death - a pre planned murder. Does anyone else remember Tracy telling Deidre that she did it, or did I dream this???
Dierdre seems to have inherited Gail's blinkers when it comes to her offspring. Total denial! She's becoming very, VERY irritating. Surely there's more drama to be found in the character having to cope with the knowledge that she's spawned a total monster.
I'm astonished Ken allowed Tracy to continue the way she was during Christmas week - she was offending people who've been his friends & neighbours for decades.
I agree Cobblestone - Ken & Deirdre's reactions to Tracy are bizarre, it's very jarring to watch.
Watch Corrie for ever, but please can there be less shouting and arguing?
It is almost appar East Enders.
