Corrie writer profile: Jim Cartwright

Confirmation's been received from ITV to me that the episode of Coronation Street we all saw on Thursday 13th January 2011 was written by Jim Cartwright, the playwright who also wrote The Rise and Fall of Little Voice.

That's a huge coup for Corrie and a great addition to the Corrie writing team.

For more on Jim Cartwright, playwright, who wrote Little Voice, Two, Road and many other fabulous plays, have a  look here.

And a damn good episode it was too!

It was indeed. The Trollope, the cat flap and Peter wanting to be held by Ken. Wonderful stuff.

Delighted about this!

Yes. It was a classic episode. I tend to find Thursdays episodes quite sleepy build ups to Fridays. But this was a classic.
Especially the John Stape story line.
