Shock storyline ahead for Sophie

Sophie Webster is set to return to the forefront of Coronation Street drama in the coming months, and will be left fighting for her life after a dramatic fall from the church roof.

She is said to struggle with Sian's new friendship with another girl, as well as the strain of her parents' divorce, and turns to alcohol.

Pictures of the shocking scenes, in which she falls onto a car and is left seriously injured, are available here.

I'm sooo excited for this storyline, it's really gonna show off Brooke Vincents acting abilities. She is soo talented when it comes to the emotional scenes. A Corrie scene/episode stealer for sure!!

This feels like it might be a bit predictable. Sophie will be jealous if Sian has a new friend...Soph goes off the rails, ends up hurt...Sian and Sophie realise how much they mean to each other, and their relationship becomes stronger etc. Oh and it could well bring Kevin and Sally back together. And let's be honest, they're unlikely to kill her off, so she will have to go through the process of recovering from a serious injury - which we are currently seeing with Peter, so it may feel repetitive? Sorry for the negativity, I hope I'm wrong and that this will be a good storyline, as I do like Sophie. Just not a big fan of her storyline with Sian and the way they cling to each other all the time.

At least Sian will finally realise she doesn't have to spend every second of every day with "Sopheh" like she has been doing over the past nine months! Corrie would be much improved if this annoying pair were axed- although I'm sure not as many teenage boys would tune in!

I really like the characters of Sophie and Sian. Teenage girls are really clingy to BFs regardless of sexual orientation. This plot should give both actresses a chance to show a depth to their acting abilities that hasn't been used before. I've got my get well card for Sophie written already!

Agree with Apple Cobbler that this teenage pair bring nothing to Corrie. As for Sophie being an "amazing actress" are we watching the same thing? All she does is eat chips, loll on the sofa or sit on the worktops, whine, scounge and never interacts with anybody but the Websters, how is that "amazing" acting pray tell?
An absolute waste of space.

I mean Sian above not Sophie, who is being dragged right down by this insipid SIAN character. She is so non descript I cant even get her name right!!

Looking forward to this story line . I think both actress's have play a very good part and the story well . This story line does happen in really life , as it did to myself and we are still together seveteen years later . As for them hanging around a lot together they are best friends aswell as lovers and this is what young girls do . I hope this just makes them stronger and Corrie doesn't use it as a way to get rid of the lesbian story line .

Can't wait for this to come out... i do agree with the storyline being a bit boring. Doesn't really show off there acting, though i still think they'll do a great job with this storyline.
