Jonathan Harvey has won the Writers' Guild Award for the episode of Coronation Street which covered Aidan Connor's suicide.
The awards ceremony took place in London last night, Monday 14 January 2019 and the award for the Best Long Running TV series went to Jonathan Harvey (right) with presenter Peter Bowker.
The award was given for episode 9451/2 of Coronation Street, written by Jonathan Harvey and shown on screen in May last year.
Jonathan said: "Chuffed to bits. Hoorah. I take this one for the team..."
