Story Editor job vacancy at Coronation Street
This just in from ITV Jobs.
Coronation Street has an opportunity for an experienced Storyliner/Story Editor to support the Story Producer and Producer in creating and delivering our storylines.
We’re looking for a talented Story Editor to join our editorial department, helping to create and produce storylines to the highest standard. Liaising with the Series Producer, the Assistant Producer and the Story Producer, you will prepare, supervise and edit storyline documents ensuring they’re delivered to agreed deadlines and to the highest possible standard.
You would be responsible for leading talk-throughs, editing storylines, liaising with Production and chairing story meetings when appropriate.
You will have extensive experience and a proven track record of storylining, writing or script editing for continuing drama and a fluent understanding of the production process. You’ll be brimming with story ideas and have a genuine passion for Coronation Street. This is not a role for the faint-hearted – you must be passionate, energetic, dedicated, talented, and resilient.
In return, you’ll get to work with a brilliant team and be part of an institution, helping to create unmissable drama, 52 weeks of the year. This will be your chance to make your mark on the cobbles.
Is your head bursting with brilliant and innovative story ideas to really grip the nation?
Then apply by the closing date for applications of 28th March 2018.
