Peter Baldwin's theatre collection up for auction
Peter Baldwin, the actor who played Derek Wilton on Coronation Street, sadly died in 2015
Away from the world of soap, Peter ran a toy and theatrical shop in London.
And next month, the theatre collection of Peter Baldwin will be sold at auction. The auction will take place by Hansons Auctioneers in Derby.
Director of Hanson's Auctioneers, Charles Hanson said that it is "...a thrill and honour to be selling the theatre collection of the late Peter Baldwin, on 5 April at noon".
Charles Hanson has appeared on BBC's Bargain Hunt for 10 years, 7 series of the Antiques Road Trip and has also appeared on Flog it!

I grew up near the original Pollocks Toy Museum and have visited several times. It sounds like they can't find a buyer for the premises in Covent Garden. I hope the items go to a UK buyer who displays them as a collection.
